FAQs

General

I don’t live near the Twin Cities, but would still like to join up. Can you pick us up?

TwinsTrain is more than willing to negotiate pickup locations. Contact us for more information.

Are there age restrictions for guests on TwinsTrain?

Not at all. We strongly encourage people of all ages to join us on our trips.

Are your trips wheelchair-accessible?

Yes. If you are planning on booking a trip, please send us an email so that we can make proper accommodations.

Lodging

Can I choose to stay with family and friends instead of the hotel in our destination city?

Absolutely. Packages are available with or without hotel lodging, and will be discounted if no lodging is chosen. Please note that if you choose to arrange lodging on your own, you are fully responsible to be on time for any bus departures as stated in the itineraries.

What kind of hotels will we be staying in?

TwinsTrain books two-diamond (or better) hotels.

What are the room accommodations?

Solo arrangements will have one room with one queen/king-sized bed. Double, Triple, and Home Run arrangements will have one room with two double beds.

Grand Slam, Triple Play, Double Play, and Change-Up packages include two rooms with two large beds apiece.

Transportation

How much luggage am I allowed to bring?

One large suitcase and one carry-on per person.

I don’t live in the Twin Cities and can’t make it to the departure spot, but live on the way to the trip’s destination. Can I still sign up?

Absolutely. Contact me, and we can arrange something for you.

Can we eat/drink on the bus?

Yes. TwinsTrain will also provide beverages for the trip — soda, water, beer, etc. But we do ask that you clean up after yourself. You may bring a small cooler as well if you would like to enjoy a few cold beverages/treats in transit. (NO glass bottles.)

What’s the bus ride like?

The buses are coach class and quite comfortable for the duration of the trip. Buses do include a small restroom, and will likely make one-two (quick) stops en route to our destination — one of which will likely be a snappy meal to go (NOT supplied by TwinsTrain). If you aren’t keen on fast food, we suggest bringing a bag lunch/snacks. Fast food will likely be our best options en route to our destination.

Gameday Experience

Where are our tickets located?

TwinsTrain has good priority on tickets at each ballpark, well before single-game tickets go on sale to the public. We will do our best to find seating with a suitable and enjoyable view of the game, free of obstructed views. Tickets will be announced as they are acquired.
